TTI is a non-profit that cares about individuals and strives to build relationships and support systems to the incarcerated and those nearing re-entry.

Through my faith journey, God has taught me all people are created in His image and this gives value to all of us.

My aim is to share Hope and Healing through  support groups and help facilitate TOPUCU which provides practical transforming principles that can provide a roadmap for personal development and success.

My name is Jazmine! My passion for helping justice impacted individuals comes from my own personal experience battling addiction and the consequences that came with it. I believe peer-lead support is one of, if not the best, ways to reach those who are currently struggling with the justice system. My goal is to use my story of recovery from drugs and the criminal lifestyle to plant a seed of hope for individuals who might not believe there is any. By joining and helping found Thrive, I want to see reduce barriers that justice impacted people face.

As the assistant director of the 12-24 Club, I am able to see the hardship people face due to incarceration and addiction on a daily basis. I am also able to see the value of peer-support and the long-lasting positive effect that two people with similar stories helping one another has.

I became involved with TTI due to my passion of helping others especially those faced with their worst days.

I believe in 2nd chances and believe that TTI helps support 2nd chances for individuals returning to the community from incarceration.

TTI’s purpose is to assist in providing referrals to services and motivating individuals through peer support. As each person gets their next chance to be successful, we build a better community.

Hi! I’m Anna! My work with TTI began as an opportunity to share my nonprofit knowledge with an upand-coming organization and quickly transitioned into a personal passion.

In my time with the TTI team we have transformed two strong and impactful programs to a full fledged 501c3 nonprofit organization and have done so in a thoughtful manner, building a foundation and framework that will ensure longterm success and the opportunity to impact many individuals for years to come.

Through peer-to-peer support and the sharing of one's lived experience, TTI members who have successfully navigated a path to personal change and growth are turning around and reaching out a hand to those behind them to bring them along.

Abbie Schaible

My name is Abbie Schaible. I'm a local social worker and I joined The Thrive Together Initiative (TTI) because I am passionate about advocating for those involved in the justice system. While I may not have personal experience within the system, I have witnessed its impact on many close family members. Seeing their struggles has driven me to help make the path a little easier for others facing similar challenges.

Through TTI, I hope to remind individuals that they are not alone and that we, along with other community members, genuinely care and are here to support them. I believe that we are the experts of our own lives, but sometimes, we just need to be okay with asking for help and guidance so we can continue growing and becoming better versions of ourselves. My goal is to foster an environment where seeking support is seen as a strength, not a weakness.

Cory Frenick

My name is Cory Frenick, and I am involved with the Thrive Together Initiative because I have lived the realities that TTI exists to address—trauma, system involvement, addiction, and the long road of rebuilding a stable life. My commitment to this work is grounded in both personal experience and a clear belief that people can change when they are met with accountability, support, and a community that does not give up on them.

I experienced significant adversity in childhood, including abuse of all kinds and instability. At the age of twelve, I entered the juvenile justice system and remained incarcerated until I turned eighteen. During those formative years, I was transported to multiple facilities, and I learned firsthand how unresolved trauma, lack of consistent support, and survival-based behaviors can become deeply entrenched when a young person is treated only as a problem to manage rather than a person to help. I learned to survive at any cost.

In addition to my experiences in the juvenile system, I endured profound loss as a teenager. I lost my father at fourteen and my mother at seventeen. Those losses left a lasting impact, and without healthy coping skills or adequate support, grief and trauma, and anger became fuel for destructive choices later in life.

As I moved into adulthood, I struggled with addiction. Substance use became my primary coping mechanism using a plethora of different drugs, and over time it affected my decision-making, relationships, stability, and overall direction in life. Like many individuals, I did not begin using substances with the intention to harm myself or others; I began because I lacked healthier tools to manage the pain I carried and the realities I had survived.

My recovery represents the most significant transformation of my life. I made the decision to accept responsibility, engage in treatment, and commit to long-term change. I completed services through Central Wyoming Counseling Center and successfully graduated from Drug Court. Recovery taught me how to live with integrity, how to practice accountability, how to rebuild trust, and how to show up consistently—especially when it is difficult. It also gave me a renewed sense of purpose.

Today, I use my lived experience to support others and to strengthen recovery-oriented systems in the community. My involvement with Thrive Together Initiative reflects my belief that healing happens through connection, practical support, and a culture that encourages both honesty and growth. I understand the complexity of addiction and trauma because I have lived it, and I understand recovery because I have worked for it. My goal is to help create pathways where individuals—especially those who feel hopeless or labeled by their past—can access resources, build stability, and move forward with dignity.

My story is not offered for sympathy. It is offered as evidence of change and as the foundation for why I am committed to this work. I am dedicated to supporting Thrive Together Initiative’s mission and helping build a stronger, more connected community where recovery is possible and sustained.

My work with TTI stems from both my professional background and personal experiences.

I have seen firsthand the barriers and challenges people face after being released from incarceration, and it is heartbreaking to watch their hope, energy, and motivation diminish when those obstacles become overwhelming.

As the Director of Community Engagement for the Natrona Collective Health Trust, I witness the positive changes our community is making to enhance services and connect people to the support they need.

Ryan

“I am a part of TTI because I was in the original RISE reentry program and support came into my life at the right time. Knowing how much the support helped me, I wanted to be a part of that for other people. It keeps me motivated to help others know they can change their lives, and that people really do care about them."
