Mission

Driven by our lived experience, we strive to empower individuals in their journey of reintegration after incarceration, working to break the cycle of recidivism, promote positive change, and cultivate a more inclusive and compassionate community for everyone.

Goal

Our mission is to empower individuals to take control of their lives by providing them with the tools and opportunities they need for personal growth and success. In doing so, we aim to break the cycle of dependency and victimization that affects our community, fostering a sense of self-sufficiency and resilience.

Vision

Add value to reentry experience by creating a pathway for individuals to reclaim their lives with dignity and purpose. Through access to valuable resources, skills development, and ongoing support, we aim to empower them to break free from the cycles of incarceration and dependence.

Jail Support Groups

Empowering Individuals Through Peer Connection and Shared Experience

We offer peer support groups every Wednesday and Saturday at the Natrona County Detention Center, facilitated by individuals with similar lived experiences.

These sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental space for participants to connect, share stories, and receive encouragement on their journey toward personal growth and reintegration. By fostering mutual understanding and empowerment, we help individuals build resilience and navigate the challenges of re-entry with a strong support system.

The RISE Program

Real Individuals Striving for Excellence; A Natrona County Detention Center Reentry Program.

The goal of this program is to decrease barriers to what is necessary for a successful reentry plan and increase the inmate’s awareness, confidence and abilities to make positive and healthy choices upon their release.

A 45-day program offered to individuals currently incarcerated that are serious about the success of their reentry to their community

Jail Support Groups

Why peer to peer?

Harnessing Lived Experience
for Effective Reintegration

Leverage the strength of peer support by connecting with individuals who have firsthand experience with addiction, recovery, and successful reentry.

Our program focuses on helping individuals transition back into the community and reduce recidivism through mentorship from those who have navigated similar challenges. Research highlights that many individuals find it more impactful to receive guidance from mentors who have successfully reintegrated themselves, offering valuable insights and encouragement for their own journey.
